John and Joan Hicks will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on February 21. They were married Feb. 21, 1953 in Monroe at the Methodist Church. John Hicks is from Shullsburg and the former Joan Zwickey is from Albany. They are parents to six children: Steve, Sue, Shelley, Stuart, Spencer and Scott; grandparents of 13 and great-grandparents of 7.
