Craig and Melva Hillery, of Darlington, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on January 5. They were married on Jan. 5, 1974 at Cobb United Methodist Church and have farmed side by side for 40 years.

The couple have four children: Jason (Ericka) Hillery of Ridgeway, Bradley (Maria) Hillery of Pecatonica, Ill., Lori (John) Hassig of Milwaukee, and Angie (Josh) Krausse of Grafton. They have four granddaughters: Morgan, 14, Maddison, 12, Olivia, 4, and Marlee, 2, and a step-grandson Aiden, 11.

The couple plans to celebrate with their children and grandchildren in Wisconsin Dells and then will spend time vacationing in Florida.
