Merlyn (Mac) and Dixie McConnell of Walworth will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18. They were married in Webster City, Iowa on Oct. 18, 1953.
The couple raised six children: Melinda (Tom) Osman, Tim (Sandi) McConnell, Andy (Sue) McConnell, Melanie (Jack) Murphy, Douglas McConnell, Phil (Karen) McConnell, and they now have 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
