Nathan and Crystal Curry of Platteville announce the birth of their daughter, Avery Lynne Curry, at 12:46 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 at Southwest Health Center.

Avery weighed eight pounds, five ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. She joins a sister, Alaina, 3.

Grandparents are Mark and Dianne Edgette, and George and Linda Curry, all of Platteville.

Great-grandparents are Bea Edgette of Pewaukee, and Dorothy Thompson of Janesville.

Avery’s father is an attorney at Kopp McKichan LLP in Platteville, and her mother is a registered nurse at UW Children’s Hospital in Madison.
