Lucas Clayton and Chelsey Opitz announce the birth of their daughter, Kinsey Elizabeth Clayton. Kinsey arrived at 3:41 a.m. on Saturday, July 23 at Upland Hills in Dodgeville. She weighed four pounds, nine ounces and measured 17.5 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Kim Hartnett and Mark and Marcia Opitz of Belmont. Paternal grandparents are Bill Clayton and the late Jill Clayton of Belmont.

Great-grandparents are Charlie and Dorothy Opitz of Belmont, Vivian Hartnett of Belmont, Jim and Monica Upmann of Shullsburg,  Cecil Clayton of Belmont, Paul and Joanne Reese of Platteville, and Bernie and Karen Eastlick of West Chester, Pa.

Kinsey is also welcomed by a great-great-grandmother, Phyllis Cushman of Platteville.
