A son, Ira Grey Opie, was born on September 3 to Laura & Matt Opie in Sauk City.  He weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. He joins big brother, Lyle, 3.  Area grandparents are Bruce and Trisha Vermilyea.  His mother is a dental hygienist in Madison and his father works at UW Hospital.
