Tyler and Jessica Carter, Platteville, announce the birth of their daughter, Piper Evie Carter, at 6:37 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
 Piper weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long. She joins a sister, Eleeya, 4.
Grandparents are Ramona and David Orton, and Michelle Gam, all of Platteville, and Jeremy and Kim Carter, Michigan.
Maternal great-grandparents are Norma Orton and Clinton Orton, both of Platteville, and Fabian Meyers and Henry Meyers, both of Darlington. Paternal great-grandparents are June and Jerry Carter, and Linda and John Sutherland, all of Michigan.
