Whitney Lee LeConte, Platteville, and Kyle James Timmerman, Dickeyville, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The wedding ceremony will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. A reception and dance will follow from 6–11 p.m. at Holiday Gardens Event Center in Potosi.
Parents of the future bride are Larry and Brenda LeConte, Platteville. Parents  of the future groom are Terry and Jane Timmerman, Dickeyville.
Whitney is a 2006 graduate of Platteville High School. She graduated from UW–Platteville in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. In 2016, she graduated from Concordia University with a master’s degree in literacy. Whitney is currently a first grade teacher for Darlington Community School District.
Kyle is a 2005 graduate of Cuba City High School. He graduated in 2008 from MATC with a degree in machining. He is currently the owner and operator of Badger Machine II, LLC in Platteville.
