Baus and Stein nuptials
Abbey and Jakob at Madison Terrace

Abbey Baus, a native of Cuba City, and Jakob Stein, a native of Cedarburg, were united in marriage by Rev. Jennifer Miller on Saturday, Aug. 12 in Madison.
Abbey and Jakob met and completed their undergraduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. Abbey continued her education and completed her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Ga., in 2015. Abbey continues her employment at the Howard Brown Clinic in Chicago with emphasis on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
Jakob continues his employment with Google, Inc. at their Chicago site, in their division of account marketing and management. After their travels to Tanzania and South Africa, Abbey and Jakob will continue their residency in the Lincolnpark District of Chicago.
Abbey is the daughter of Joe Kennicker and Dr. Amy Baus; she is older sister of her lead flower girl, Maddey Rose; granddaughter to Claudia Baus and the late David Baus, who passed away earlier this year; and honorary granddaughter to Marv and Mary Kennicker, all of Cuba City.
In memory of Grandpa Baus on their special day, Abbey and Jakob  submitted a donation in his name, as well as the names of deceased family members to the American Heart Association.
