Adults thinking about their education may want to participate in the “Return to Learn” program scheduled for Thursday, April 18 at the Gays Mills Public Library

‘Return to Learn’ programs are free informational programs for adults interested in returning to school.

Information about the new Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science degree offered through UW-Richland will be available. Students are now being accepted for this unique new degree program.

Whether you’re thinking about earning a college degree or acquiring one or several specific skills, the program offers options and answers for you. Those attending are welcome to bring their questions and their spouses or friends.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gays Mills Public Library, which is located in the Gays Mills Community Commerce Center at 16381 State Highway 131.

Jessica Laeseke, UW-Richland Continuing Education Director, and Joanna Muller, UW-Richland Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science professional experience coordinator, will be there to meet with guests.

Muller plans to provide information about financial aid, scholarships, balancing work and family with classes and other aspects of life as an adult student, as well as the array of learning options available including the BAAS degree.

Laeseke plans to provide information about Continuing Education learning opportunities that can enhance employment skills—such as short-term courses on word processing and spreadsheets, certificate programs to help you prepare for a job, and arts courses.
