The state Assembly Speaker’s Taskforce on Rural Schools will meet in the Cuba City High School cafeteria today at 1:30 p.m.

The agenda includes two items — school district challenges, and the Wisconsin Innovative School Network. Invited speakers include Cuba City superintendent Roger Kordus and Potosi superintendent Ronald Saari.

The meeting will be preceded by a tour of Cuba City schools at 12:30 p.m.

Under the state Open Meetings Law, legislative hearings are open to the public.
