The Rollo Jamison Museum in Platteville is hosting a Classic Toy Train Exhibit Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit features standard-gauge and O27-gauge model trains, with other displays of other train sets or train-related items. Platteville had two train lines, the Chicago & North Western (originally the Galena and Southern Wisconsin Railroad), and the Milwaukee Road, with stops not far from each other east of the museum site. The railroad left Platteville in 1980.
