Alan Paul Aspenson, 82, long time Westby barber passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse after suffering a severe stroke on Monday, March 25, 2013.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church in Westby with Pastor Dennis Hallemeier officiating. Burial was in the Coon Prairie Cemetery with Military Rites by American Legion Post No. 155, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8021 and the U. S. Army Honors Team.
