Avis Vivian Lawinger, 89, of Platteville died on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Manor Care, Platteville.  Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Rev. David Flanagan officiated.  Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville.  Friends called from 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Avis Vivian Lawinger Memorial Fund.
