Gertrude Hill, 87 of Viola, formerly of the town of Sylvan, died Saturday evening, May 5, 2012, at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. Gertrude was born in Richland Center on July 23, 1924, to Clyde and Estella (Renick) Martin. Services were held at noon on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Sugar Grove Church of Christ, Soldiers Grove. Pastor Dennis Johnson officiated with burial in Viola Cemetery. Friends called at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
