Karl R. “Nick” Rogers, 77 of Gratiot, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born Sept. 23, 1934, at his parents’ home on Nielsen Lane in rural Darlington, the son of Herbert and Doris (Nielsen) Rogers. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 15691 Co. K in rural Darlington with Rev. David Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington with military rites to be accorded by Bates-O’Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post No. 214 of Darlington.
