Lorraine E. “Lorrie” Aurit, 89 of Shullsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington. She was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Shullsburg the daughter of Daniel and Mary (O’Brien) Keyes. Lorraine lived in the Shullsburg area all of her life graduating from Shullsburg High School in 1940. Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 344 North Judgement St. in Shullsburg with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota officiating. Burial was in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in rural Shullsburg. A visitation was held Friday, May 11, from 4-8 p.m., where a rosary service was held at 4 p.m. A visitation was also held Saturday, May 12, from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
