Shirley W. Mullen, age 87, of Madison, was called home to be with her Lord on Feb. 11, 2015. She left quietly in her home with family beside her. Shirley was born in rural Fayette, the daughter of Lewis and Alma (Thompson) White.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 there was a memorial service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 222 E. Washington Ave., Madison, with the Rev. Ken Smith presiding. The interment will be later this year when family and friends will gather at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family offers special thanks to Dr. Frontiera and staff at Dean Clinic Hematology and Oncology Clinic. Also to the staff at Home Health with gratitude to nurses Rachel, Jennie, Leah and Lisa for their compassionate care of Shirley and her family.
