Shirley V. Updike, 89, a life-long resident of Boscobel, died on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Boscobel Care and Rehab.

She was born on November 3, 1925 in Boscobel, the daughter of Clyde and Frances (Ward) Rice. She married Alfred Johnson on June 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1977. She married Delbert Updike in July 1979. He preceded her in death in January 1992. 

Funeral services were held on Monday March 2, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiated. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery.
