Vera Louise Sallander, age 99 formerly of DeSoto died on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center in La Crosse.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 12th, 2012 at the DeSoto Lutheran Church with Pastor Doug Andersen officiating. Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. on Friday.  Burial will be at the Walnut Mound Cemetery.  A meal will be served following the service.  The family suggests memorials to either DeSoto Lutheran Church or Bethany St. Joseph Care Center at 2501 Shelby Road, La Crosse, WI. 54601 The Thorson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.  Condolences may be sent to info@ThorsonFuneralHome.com.
