Editor,

On Sunday, Sept. 30, folks in the area have an opportunity to hear the Oakwood Chamber Players perform at 2 p.m. at the Town and Country Presbyterian Church in Richland Center.  This group has been together since 1984 and has performed with the Madison Symphony Orchestra as well as several other professional groups.  The instruments represented in the group include violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, and bassoon.  The Oakwood Chamber Players will present a concert of classical music at the church located at 345 S. Cairns Ave.  Tickets will be available at the door: adults $15, students $5, UW-R students free with student ID. Season tickets are also available for the 5 remaining concerts in this season: adults $50, students $15, family $80. Additional information from me at 735-4821.

I have been attending concerts in Richland Center for several years and have found them across the board to be well done and a joy to hear.  So, if you don't plan to attend the Apple Fest Parade, drive on over to Richland Center and check out this concert. You'll be glad you did.
