UW-Richland Roadrunner mens and womens basketball about to begin

The beginning of the University of Wisconsin-Richland Roadrunner 2015-2016 basketball season is approaching and area basketball fans should plan to come and watch the teams in action.

Practices for both the men and women Roadrunners began Oct. 19.

Roadrunner men’s coach Zach Thayer returns for his sixth season with the Roadrunners and Tracy Krueger returns for his fifth consecutive season with the women’s team.

The season begins with home games Nov. 2 against Emmaus with tip-off at 5:30 p.m. for the women and 7:30 p.m. for the men.

Schedules can be accessed at richland.uwc.edu—under “Campus Life”>”Athletics and Recreation”>”Teams” and then select men’s and/or women’s basketball.

All basketball fans are welcome at games in the campus gym, located at 1200 Hwy. 14 West in Richland Center.
